I am cautiously hopeful that the TIGgers might actually manage to achieve something, but why in the name of Lloyd George's sainted left toenail should 100,000 Lib Dems "join" 11 second-rate backbenchers whose principle unifying feature is they agree with our flagship policy (and on sod all else)? Other way round, surely?
